Some Incredible Ice Cream Flavors

When it comes to food and particularly desserts, I've been known to take the "if it ain't broke don't fix it..." motto.  Cookies 'n cream, cookies 'n cream, cookies 'n cream.  Stick with a good thing and leave the experimenting to science.  Recently, however, I've been a little daring with ice cream and cam across two incredible flavors that I must share with everyone.  Actually, I found one and the other was recommended, and did not disappoint.

The first is Turkey Hill Double Dunker.  The website says:

Mocha reduced fat ice cream swirled with chewy cookie dough and crunchy chocolate cookie swirl

but it's more than that.  There's Oreos in there and cookie dough.  I have to confess, I had never had cookie dough in ice cream before, and I was missing out.

The other is from Breyer's, believe it or not.  I thought of Breyer's as a brand from the 70's.  Not anymore.  I found a flavor called Waffle Cone:

Hershey®'s Mini Chocolate Chips and creamy caramel have a blast with chunks of fudge-covered waffle cones.

Holy moly. Amazing.  This stuff kicks.  I can eat a gallon in one shot.

Finally, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the treasure found at most popular convenience stores...the full size Twix Ice-Cream Bar.  Some super markets carry smaller ones, but it's not the same.  Stop the press.  After eating one of these, you can die in "piece" (pun always intended).  I had a few friends try them for the first time not long ago.  It's fun to watch the facial expressions change as they get further into the bar while new flavors surprise and please the pallet.  I'm serious, it's that good.  So are the others, for that matter.  Try them all!
